Right in the middle of the Pessaro Hills, in the wine region of Le Marche, you’ll find Azienda Agraria Guerrieri, a family-owned winery that has been producing wine for more than 200 years.Today, this boutique Italian winery is run by the 6th generation of the Guerrieri family, Luca, Maria Giulia, and Alberto Guerrieri. This is Central Italy on the east coast, overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

Aging: 12 months in French Oak Barrels.
Tasting Notes: 95% Montepulciano and 15% Sangiovese. Amazing aromas ofblackberry, blueberry pie, dark plum, intertwined with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Superb length. This wine is fabulous now and will age for 7-12 years. Serve lightly chilled and allow to decant at least 30 minutes.Pair this wine with red meat, game, and aged cheeses.
