Tom Meadowcroft has over 35 years of experience in viticulture and winemaking. His eponymous winery is one of California wine country’s hidden treasures, producing vineyard-specific, limited-release wines that exhibit a regional backbone with European exuberance. Heralded by Bonfort's Wine & Spirits Journal as a top 100 Winery in 2019, this family-owned estate continues its stride toward one of the world's best.

Meadowcroft is a passion project from a rockstar team of wine professionals. Tom Meadowcroft, has an extensive history of grape growing in both California and Washington state. At Tom's side is Petar Kirilov, who after growing up in a winemaking family in Bulgaria, moved to the United States to continue pursuing his passion for wine. The end product is exceptionally produced wine, that is delicious today and will only continue to improve with time.

The meaning of Meadowcroft is a fertile field or meadow and croft refers to a cultivated area that has been nurtured over time. The honeybee on the label symbolizes this conscientious work and the process of transformation from wine grapes into outstanding wine.

2021 is one of the vintages of the decade. Vinous Media blessed this year with a 95-98 point score, and said: "Two thousand twenty-one is a fabulous vintage in Napa Valley. That’s the good news. The not so good news is that production is down sharply, 30-50% in many cases. The wines have tremendous energy as well as finesse. In tasting, the 2021s show some of the savory intensity of other drought vintages – 2013 and 2014 come to mind – but with more aromatic explosiveness and greater inner sweetness."

91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petite Verdot. Generous and supple, sourced from a wine-growing region that is known for producing powerful, rich, structured wines due to the volcanic and clay soils and high elevation weather conditions. This rich, complex wine features blueberry and blackberry characteristics framed by notes of violets and Mediterranean herbs.  This is not an oaky wine. Tom says if his wines show more oak flavors than fruit flavors, he didn’t do a good job balancing the wine. Fullbodied, with firm and silky tannins, the flavor profile is dominated by vivid flavors of cassis, blackberries, and mocha. This wine is an ideal candidate for cellaring and should mature well over the next 10 years.
