About the Wine

James Suckling once said, “Prosecco is one of the hottest wine categories in the world at the moment. Maybe it’s the reasonable price compared to Champagne or other sparkling wines. Or maybe it’s the light, fresh style of Italy’s popular spumante? Whatever, Prosecco can be wonderful, especially as an aperitif,” we agree.

Andrea Biasiotto is located in the Veneto region, or as wine critic Jancis Robinson once named it "Italy's wine factory.”This boutique family-owned winery was founded in 1907 by Luigi Biasiotto. Today, it is led by Luigi’s grandchildren, Andrea and Tatiana. The estate is made up of 66 acres of vineyards planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Glera, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes, and is carried with responsible viticulture.

Andrea Biasiotto Prosecco is an amazing value Prosecco that you'll absolutely adore. This is the perfect sparkling for any and every occasion, and thanks to its versatility, it's also the perfect pairing for practically every meal like Mexican, Asian, or Italian cuisine, mildly spiced seafood, and will be the perfect aperitif.

With 94 points, this Prosecco is one of Luca Maroni's "Best Italian Proseccos" of the year.

Tasting Notes: Light straw yellow with some greenish notes, brilliant, with a fine persistent perlage. Intense aromas, with floral nuances and essences of apple, banana, and peach. Soft and elegant on the palate, with pleasant roundness, and a fresh and soft ending. Remarkable persistence. Drink this wine with any day that ends in a "y".
