About the Wine

San Venanzio has won many awards over the years. Generous notes of apples, peaches, tropical fruits and pear blossom. It’s wonderfully balanced and elegant, with a pleasurable spiciness. The palate is rich and creamy, with pretty fruit closely mirroring the nose and admirable fullness and length. This is balanced, elegant and an excellent apéritif. 9,00 g/l.

About the Region

Valdobbiadene is a land to be “tasted”.  The wine and gastronomy scene is closely connected to the territory. Thanks to the coexistence of different kinds of soils, the steepness of the hills and the position close to the Pre-Alps, this territory is particularly suitable for the cultivation of superb vines. Located halfway between Venice and the Dolomites, the area is very close to the towns of Conegliano and Asolo.

Since the introduction of the DOC appellation in 1969, Valdobbiadene (together with Conegliano) obtained the status as the Capital of Prosecco.

The roots of viticulture date back centuries, and similarly the vines plunge their roots in the ground and  find their nourishmentin a terroir which is naturally rich in iron, clay, andconglomerates of rocks and sand.

*Note: This is not the less expensive Treviso Prosecco. This is the Fortunato, single vineyard from Valdobbiaddene.
