The vineyards where the grapes for Camartina are grown have been organically farmed since 1988, and then fully converted to biodynamic techniques in 2000. The grapes are hand-harvested, de-stemmed, not crushed, then transferred into five-ton French oak fermenters. Afterward, the wine spends (élevage) one year in French barriques (30% new oak). The wines are released no later than 30 months after harvest, the estate ages the wine so you don't have to!
Tasting notes: The wine is driven by rich red fruits and silky tannins with compliments of Fein herbs, cocoa bean, and orange zest.
