The only red presented, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis checks in as 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, and smaller amounts of Petit Verdot and Malbec, all aged in 30% new French and 4% new American oak. Ripe blackberries, black cherries, spice, and a beautiful floral quality all emerge from this medium to full-bodied effort. With some creamy oak, sweet tannins, and good purity, it’s a pleasure-bent red to drink over the coming 10-15 years ~ 93 JD

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Artemis is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec. Deep purple-black in color, it opens with notions of crushed black cherries, warm blackberries and mulberries with hints of unsmoked cigars, fragrant soil and wild sage plus a waft of allspice. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the palate with expressive blackberry and earthy layers with a frame of grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with an herbal lift. (LPB) ~92 WA
