Are you ready for a little mystery? We're unveiling an extraordinary Napa Valley Cabernet, but we've got such an incredible deal that we can't share its exact name. Quite simply, the winery won't allow us to publicly promote their $125 wine at our exceptionally low price.

Brace yourself for a unique tasting adventure with this Napa Valley gem, where its exceptional value and exclusivity will pique your curiosity.

This mysterious wine comes from Beau Vigne, an estate that flies under the radar as a “hidden gem” and a small boutique winery producing only a few thousand cases a year. Fans and critics alike flock to the winery for its outstanding wines and genuine hospitality including famed critic Robert Parker who refers to Beau Vigne as “one of my favorite wineries.”

Behind this wine is renowned winemaker Julien Fayard. He uses his expertise to produce wines that express pure, terroir-driven specificities and characteristics. Julien gained his knowledge and defined his core winemaking style from working at grand Chateaux in France such as Lafite Rothschild and Smith Haut Lafitte.

Beau Vigne’s wines are highly esteemed and cherished among some of the world’s most important winemakers, and they have achieved numerous high-accolades. Today, they are considered among Napa Valley’s most acclaimed wines.

2021 is looking to be one of the vintages of the decade. Vinous Media blessed this year with a 95-98 point score, and said: "Two thousand twenty-one is a fabulous vintage in Napa Valley. That’s the good news. The not so good news is that production is down sharply, 30-50% in many cases. The wines have tremendous energy as well as finesse. In tasting, the 2021s show some of the savory intensity of other drought vintages – 2013 and 2014 come to mind – but with more aromatic explosiveness and greater inner sweetness."

Aging: 21 months in 80% new French oak

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine offers plush black cherry, bramble and hints of wild rose. Tannins are silky and supple from entry through the finish, with savory notes of forest floor, incense and bay laurel harmonizing with the darker blue and black fruit

This sleek but powerful and concentrated wine offers enticing and deep black cherry, graphite and cocoa aromas followed by fine-grained tannins that tighten up as you sip. The wine is built for the long haul, needing time for more complexity to develop and the texture to soften. Best from 2028–2038. ~97 Wine Enthusiast
