The 2018 Lecheteau Rose d'Anjou comes from the western part of the Loire Valley in the region of Anjou. This historic region dominated by ancient castles and a lush green landscape showcases a variety of wines from one of the Lorie Valley's most unheralded sub-regions. This semi-sweet low acid rose has been a staple of this region since it first rose to popularity in the mid-to-late 20th century. Time to discover the Lorie's refreshing off-dry rosés!
Tasting Notes:60% Cabernet Franc, 20% Grolleau, and 20% Gamay In the glass, the wine is rose-petal pink with raspberry-red reflections. On the nose, red fruits burst out of the glass, strawberries, raspberries, and redcurrants. The palate is supple and well-balanced with a delicate softness.
