Alsace, located in northeastern France, is shaped by a unique mix of French and German influences, both in culture and winemaking. The vineyards are nestled along the Route des Vins d'Alsace (Alsace Wine Route), a picturesque stretch of rolling hills, medieval villages, and historic wineries. The region’s cool climate and diverse soils—granite, limestone, and clay—produce wines with bright acidity and distinct minerality.
