About the Wine

Spanning four generations the Pecchenino family has gone from a small family-run production to a winery of international recognition!  Focused on the production of high-quality Dolcetto, Nebbiolo and a few other select varietals, Pecchenino’s 54 acres of vines are painstakingly cared for by hand. In addition to its consistently high quality, Pecchenino distinguishes itself by being the only winery to produce Dolcetto aged in oak, resulting in Dolcetto wines with an aging potential of over 10 years!

This single-vineyard wine is made from Dolcetto, cultivated on 12 acres on the northern edge of Dogliani. The grapes are hand-selected then fermented using only natural yeasts, enhancing the strong personality of the final wine. In addition to its ripe fruit-forward nose, Siri d’Jermu has great concentration, typical of this appellation.

Aging: 12 months in French oak barrels

Tasting Notes: 100% Dolcetto. Ruby red with violet highlights. Intense bouquet of ripe fruits with notes of currants, blackberries and black cherries envelop the nose. The palate is balanced with smooth, sweet tannins and a persistent finish.
