About the Wine

What can we expect from a region where the main gastronomic products are wine, cheese, and truffles? Pure perfection and a perfect destination for foodies.

The Langhe is an area of protected hills and recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site. It is also where excellent, elegant, and balanced wines are produced.

The story begins in the picturesque town of La Morra, where the Ascheri Cellars' first vines were planted in the 19th century.

While others clung to primitive methods, the Ascheri Winery embraced innovation. The "Ascheri" vine cultivation method, considered modern at the time, set them apart.Their commitment to quality was unwavering.

In 1880, recognizing the importance of distribution, the winery relocated to Bra. It was a strategic move to be closer to Turin, the wine hub of the region. Bra, with its regal connections and prime location, became the perfect home for Giacomo Ascheri. Today, Giacomo Ascheri's cellars stand as a testament to their rich heritage. These cellars are the only ones preserving such an ancient and beautiful legacy in the region.

Over the decades, the focus has been on enhancing the quality of their wines. They expanded their estates, adding the choicest vineyards from Serralunga d’Alba, Verduno, and beyond.

Tasting Notes: 100% Nebbiolo. An elegant mix of spices and flowers, with soft notes of violet and rose. When you take a sip, it's a pleasant and harmonious wine that lingers, feeling both soft and dry.
