About the Wine

Domino La Granadilla is a family estate located in the heart of Rueda in the town of Navas del Rey, run by 4 brothers and sisters who are first and foremost, farmers. The vineyards cover 70 hectares, planted to the local Verdejo on stony soils rich in calcium and magnesium, all of which are located 750 meters above sea level. The modern winery is equipped the latest technologies to further the goal of La Granadilla: to make the best wine in the Rueda DO.

La Granadilla's 100% Verdejo is a pale lemon color in the glass. On the nose, aromas of orange peel, Meyer lemon and Golden Delicious apple intertwine with a beautiful herbal complexity of fennel and grass. On the palate, the wine is fresh and vibrant with notes of fresh fruits and herbs infused with a subtle kiss of spice. This wine exhibits an incredible softness, coupled with a long, persistent finish. Fantastic with a range of dishes including fish, poultry and pork, though it's a perfect match for roasted vegetables of all varieties. 

Aging: Stainless tank

Tasting Notes: Aromatic, exotic jasmine, honeysuckle flowers and lychee fruits. The wine is clean and pure, varietally correct and exquisite. The lip-smacking lemon acid is the ultimate palate cleanser and will leave your mouth wanting more. Truly an excellent expression of this eminently drinkable food wine.
