About the Wine

Domaine Faiveley, a renowned name in Burgundy, stands tall as one of the largest and most esteemed estates, celebrated for its exceptional red wines crafted from Pinot Noir. What makes this offer truly unique? It's a debut appearance in our selection, and the reason is simple: We've secured a direct import partnership with Burgundy's most prestigious winery. However, here's the twist: It's an exceedingly limited opportunity with astonishing pricing. Our Advise? ACT FAST!

In 1825, Pierre Faiveley founded the firm that now bears the name Domaine Faiveley. At that time, the firm was a classic négociant, buying and selling wine. But from generation to generation, with a strong commitment to the quality of Burgundy’s patrimony, the Faiveley family has purchased vineyards and is today among the largest owners of classified vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise with holdings totaling 331 acres, of which 30 acres are Grand Crus and 67 acres are premiers crus.

In 2013, Domaine Faiveley reported it had acquired 50 acres of vines previously owned by Domaine Dupont-Tisserandot of Gevrey-Chambertin, including parts of the Grands Crus Charmes-Chambertin, Mazis-Chambertin, and Le Rognet et Corton and Premiers Crus Lavaux St.-Jacques, Les Cazetiers and La Petite Chapelle.

Faiveley red wines are the perfect illustration of a successful marriage of elegance, precision, and concentration.

Pommard is a renowned wine-producing village located in the Côte de Beaune. Its greatness is due to a combination of factors like its terroir with south-facing slopes and limestone-clay soils, creating the ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir. The resulting wines are known for their intensity, complexity, and depth of flavor, featuring rich dark fruit notes, earthy undertones, and impressive aging potential.

Tasting Notes

100% Pinot Noir. An atypical Pommard. A ripe style, round, fleshy red,
featuring flavors of cherries, raspberries, earth and iron. The beef tannins underpin everything, leaving a compact impression on the finish.
