The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Mountain Terraces Vineyard is bold, powerful and racy. The youthful mountain tannins have begun to soften, which allows the fruit to really come through. Grilled herbs, leather, licorice, smoke and gravel add striking aromatic nuance. The decision to release this wine with a few years of bottle age is well judged. ~93VM
