In the 1950s, Don Domingo began sourcing Chardonnay from the historic vineyards of Vista Flores in Tunuyán. Domingo prized the region’s Chardonnay above all others for its notes of tropical fruit and balanced minerality. Catena Chardonnay Appellation Vista Flores is a wine with a pure expression of this unique terroir.
Tasting notes: The extraordinary vineyard produces honey and tropical fruit flavors while lending notes of citrus, pears, peaches, and white flowers with a strong minerality and a delicated note of vanilla. The mouthfeel is clean, with a fresh, clean acidity.

It’s always lovely to see a Chardonnay that takes an Argentinian Style as opposed to trying to copy Napa style. This high-altitude Chard has a lovely white stone aroma with a little minerality and burst of freshness. On the palate, more of that robust freshness comes forward with nectarine, peach and apricot lingering in the background. This is a fantastic style and I would highly recommend people to explore this take on Chardonnay.
Fantastic! Feels clean and fresh to the palate!!
Medium body, light oak or brioche, white flowers and vanilla, creamy finish. Surprised how much I liked it - I think it’s my first Chardonnay from Argentina.
We only trade in fine wine. This is our expertise and passion. We're highly selective. Of 4,500 wines we taste each year, only 4% will make the grade.
