2015 is one of the best vintages this century

• 60 % Cabernet Sauvignon 40 % Merlot

Guidalberto was a pioneer of modern agriculture in Bolgheri in the early nineteenth century. "The wine was created for two reasons: first of all, the desire to see what we could accomplish with Merlot, a grape that we had never used before; second, the desire to offer the consumer a wine which could be appreciated at a younger age compared to our veteran Sassicaia”.

Fantastic fruit on the nose with currant, apricot and orange aromas that follow through to a full body. Extremely fine tannins and a bright finish. A tight yet generous red with so much going on. Best ever. A blend of 70% cabernet sauvignon and 30% merlot. ~94pts, JS
