About the Wine

The “Queen” of the white grapes, loved by winemakers and wine drinkers around the world, versatile and lovely. We're talking about the Chardonnay!

Chardonnay is the third most widely planted grape in the world, and with good reason, its versatility allows it to produce various styles of wine ideal for every wine drinker.

Chardonnay comes from the beautiful Burgundy region in France. However, this grape has long been produced around the world. It is a beautiful grape that produces unique and unparalleled wines.

A Chilean Chardonnay is a clear example of fresh wine, with crisp acidity and tropical aromas, all these beautiful virtues accompanied by an excellent price. What else can we ask for a Chardonnay?

Painted Face is located in Curicó, within the Central Valley of Chile. The Central Valley is the most important, largest, and oldest region in the country. In fact, more than 80% of the wine production in Chile comes from here. In addition, it is home to some of the most recognized wineries with the highest production in the world.

Curicó is located in one of the most emblematic wine regions within the Central Valley: The Maule Region. As a curious fact, in Maule is located one of the best Universities in the Country to study Agronomy.

Curicó has a Mediterranean climate with a temperature differential between day and night, and clay loam soils of volcanic origin, which allows both white and red grapes to flourish, especially Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Notes: 100% Chardonnay. Subtle aromas of apple and pear, tropical notes of pineapple. On the palate it is dry with crisp acidity. Pair this wine with salmon, tuna, trout, and sushi!
