The 2022 BenMarco Malbec showcases the vision and precision behind one of Argentina’s most respected winemaking teams, capturing the raw energy of Los Chacayes, a standout subregion of the Uco Valley. Here, vines grow in sandy, rocky loam soils at high elevation, where natural stress limits vigor and concentrates flavor, giving this wine its unmistakable purity and intensity.

Hand-selected grapes were destemmed and gently crushed, followed by daily punch-downs and an extended 30-day maceration to maximize color and texture. Fermentation took place in stainless steel at controlled temperatures, preserving aromatic lift and freshness. The wine then rested for 11 months in second-use French oak, adding subtle contour without overshadowing the fruit.

This Malbec bursts with ripe blackberry and black plum, lifted by a flash of violet that feels unmistakably Uco Valley. The palate is vibrant and energetic, with bright acidity driving tension and firm, sculpted tannins adding grip and structure.

The finish is long, bold, and satisfying, leaving that dark-fruited, high-altitude freshness that BenMarco is known for.

This Orgánico wine obviously comes from organically managed vineyards. But it has not been corrected for acidity either, and was fermented with native yeasts without sulfur correction. Fermented grape juice that comes from the Los Chacayes area, in the Andean Uco Valley. It is a textbook mountain malbec full of notes of flowers and herbs, an Andean breeze that is pure fruit in the mouth, with tannins that are firm but not aggressive.
