2010 Brookman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon : A fabulous vintage that combines the structure and energy of a cold vintage with the ripeness of a warm year. The best 2010 Cabernets are full-bodied, flamboyantly ripe, and also tannic. Readers should continue to cellar the 2010s for at least a few years, but preferably even longer.

2016 Brookman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: full-bodied red with rich flavors of dark fruit like blackberry and cassis. Subtle notes of oak and tobacco add depth, while smooth tannins and balanced acidity lead to a smooth, lasting finish. It’s a great choice for pairing with red meats or hearty dishes.

2018 Brookman Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon: A heady mix of blackberry, spiced plums, tobacco, and new wood cedar is joined by sage and spearmint with hints of dark cacao. Medium to full-bodied with extremely pleasant, substantial, fine-grained tannins. Juicy blueberry, pie spices, ironstone, and cool, wet slate minerals fuel the tension-filled finish. The Brookman Wine Co. is spearheaded by winemaker Gary Brookman, with wines typically aged for around 22 months in a mix of new French oak. ~94 Decanter
