About the Wine

Joseph Phelps, a renowned businessman, and constructor began his dream of making wine in 1973. Today, this family-owned winery is run by Joseph's son, Bill Phelps, and his sisters. They boast more than 400 acres in some of Napa Valley's most acclaimed wine regions including St. Helena, Rutherford, Oakville, Stags Leap District, Oak Knoll District, South Napa, and Carneros, plus more than 100 acres located west of Sonoma, where they have plantations of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Thanks to the fact that the grapes come from different premium quality vineyards, each Joseph Phelps label is a new world to discover! In addition to being recognized for producing extraordinary high-quality wines, Joseph Phelps maintains great social and ecological responsibility. Joseph Phelps Vineyards uses sustainable practices within its winery and vineyard. The vineyards are certified with the Napa Green and Fish Friendly Farming programs.

And for all the travelers who enjoy touring vineyards, this is a must-visit place! This estate is a work of art, built by renowned architect John Marsh Davis. Joseph Phelps offers an unparalleled experience for visitors.
