The 2022 Rauzan Gassies is fabulous. Rich and dramatic, the 2022 offers up copious inky fruit, crème de cassis, lavender, menthol, chocolate and sage. The 2022 is an especially flamboyant Rauzan Gassies, but all the elements are very nicely put together. It will be interesting to revisit this in bottle. ~92-94 AG-VM

A Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated blend that includes roughly 20% Merlot, the 2022 Château Rauzan-Gassies might end up being the finest vintage I've tasted from this château. Loaded with red, blue, and black fruits, it's medium to full-bodied, has supple, elegant tannins, classic aromatics of lead pencil and dried flowers, and outstanding length. ~92-94 JD
