Cheval Blanc is a name that will forever be recognized as one of the greatest wines in the world. There are rumors that when the 2020 is finally rated by critics, it will achieve a perfect score. The long warm vintage was perfect for Merlot and the resulting wines are pure class.

A firm and linear wine with lovely length and focus, with crushed stone and blackberry character. Racy finish. Precise. ~93-94 JS

The 2022 Corbin has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of violets, vine smoke and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it's bright, perfumed and polished, but with a touch more mid-palate density and texture than is habitual for this elegant-styled wine. It's a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and such was the quality of all the lots that no second wine was produced this year. ~92-94 WA

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Château Corbin is a beautifully perfumed, elegant, seamless Saint-Emilion offering ripe darker cherry fruits, some gravelly earth and spring flower notes, silky tannins, and a great finish. It's all about finesse and elegance, and it's a beautiful wine. ~92-94 JD

The 2022 Corbin is endowed with tremendous power and richness. Huge tannins and strong Franc notes dominates. It will be interesting to see how this develops, as there is a gorgeous core of fruit that emerges gradually with a bit of aeration. ~91-94 AG-VM
