Martellotto Winery in Santa Barbara has been producing award-winning wines since 2005. Since the winery self-distributes fewer than 8,000 cases, the wines have flown under the radar. However, the secret is now out. Consistent 90+ ratings and several double gold medals in competitive blind wine competitions have brought the attention of major publications and critics.

The "La Bomba Cabernet" has bested Napa, Sonoma, and Paso Robles Cabernets in the under $50 category in the prestigious San Francisco Chronicle wine competition. This wine managed to do the seemingly impossible; all the judges unanimously agreed it was the best Cabernet of the bunch for the money.  We agree.

Martellotto Winery produces unique and exciting wines designed to surprise and ignite discerning palates of wine lovers everywhere. Inspired by Greg Martellotto’s family's winemaking roots in Italy, the blends are a reflection of distinctly original techniques developed, refined and perfected over the years by expert and connoisseur Greg Martellotto.

"La Bomba" is in fact a bomb of a wine.If you love Napa Cabernet, you owe it to yourself to try this wine. The escalating prices in Napa  have made it increasingly challenging to get a great Cab at a great price. Here it is.

Today, we're pleased to extend la buona tavola to you with this artisanal wine. Indulge in voluptuous fruit and embrace the silken heartiness of this jazzy wine.

The final blend was lovingly created to confer giddy pleasure. —Alla Salute!

Aging: 18 in French oak barrels

95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah. This wine is a real winner with its perfect mix of fruity goodness and smooth, velvety tannins. Delightful scent of blackberries, a touch of sweet tobacco, cedar, and a hint of pretty violet flowers. When you take a sip, it's not too heavy or too light; it's just right, with a lovely texture and soft tannins that make it an absolute joy to savor.
