About the wine 

Second growth, Cos d'Estournel has a long and prestigious history dating as far back as 1811. Their wines are described as "rich, sensuous, age-worthy, concentrated, refined, powerful, elegant and tannic." Undoubtedly one of the best producers in the Medoc, Cos d'Estournel has been heralded by critics and wine connoisseurs from around the globe! Goulee is no different! Displaying the same depth and power seen in the primer bottling of the estate, this wine offers a world-class pedigree at an entry-level price! Since the 2017 Vintage, this label was upgraded to the Pagodes de Cos Blanc or the second wine of the estate. 

The Estate is a marvel both inside and out. With Indian-inspired architecture and a production facility, featuring no pumps, where wine is moved entirely by gravity Cos d'Estournel boasts a world-class facility, second to none. A lack of intervention allows the most authentic expression of fruit and terroir. In perfect harmony with the estate’s terroir and production practices, the blanc de Bordeaux Goulee is a smooth, supple, seductive wine that is fruity yet pure.

Tasting Notes: A pale straw color, this wine offers up aromas of fresh yellow apples, lime zest, and white flowers. The palate is rich yet bright, cutting through with a vibrant energy.
