Pauillac, with its rich history and unique microclimate near the Gironde River, has given birth to some of Bordeaux's most famous wines. Domaine de Saint-Guirons is no exception, crafting wines that showcase the essence of this remarkable terroir.

Domaine de Saint-Guirons is owned by the Borie family, one of the most important and ancient wine families in Bordeaux. They’re also owners of iconic Bordeaux 5th growth Château Grand-Puy Lacoste, recognized as one of the greatest wines of Pauillac and located just three miles from the illustrious Château Mouton Rothschild.

François-Xavier Borie has transformed Domaine de Saint-Guirons into a beacon of quality and refinement. Since taking over in 1978, François-Xavier Borie and his family have completely renovated the château and its cellars. Through years of hard work and technical innovation, they have continually improved the wine quality, making each vintage a more refined expression of the unique terroir.

2019 was an outstanding vintage for Pauillac. It was awarded 97 points by Vinous Media who said it is "Unquestionably a Left Bank vintage. The sweet spot is in Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac, where so many wines are exceptional to profound, at all levels in the hierarchy of terroirs."

Aging: 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels.

75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot.
