The 2020 Cloudview Red Blend is a captivating cuvée of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This “mixed blacks” blend harks back to the traditional winemaking methods of the 20th century, producing a wine that is bold, fruit-forward, and utterly delicious.

Del Barba Vineyard, situated in Contra Costa, where the San Joaquin and Sacramento rivers meet, is a vineyard that features meticulously trained vines in the deep Dehli blow sand. This sand is made up of decomposed granite from the Sierra Mountains, which lends the resulting wine a smooth texture, refined tannins, and rich, saline-infused dark fruits. This combination beautifully captures the essence of the delta's finest characteristics.

Its aromas are led by sun-kissed blackberry, lilac, and roses, with a brushstroke of eucalyptus and cassis. The mouthfeel is equally joyful, with a mountain of flavor and richness balanced with a hint of acidity and well-rounded tannins that resolve in a long finish.
