Crafted from vines rooted in the sandy, gravelly soils near Figeac and composed of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, the 2023 La Tour Figeac reveals aromas of licorice, dark wild berries, spices, smoke and fresh flowers. Very well made, with blackberry, blueberry and stone aromas that follow through to a medium-bodied, juicy palate. More precise than past vintages. 60% merlot and 40% cabernet franc. ~ 92-93 JS
