The 2023 Séraphine was picked from September 8 and 9 for the Merlot and around September 28 for the Cabernet Franc, matured in 45% new oak and one 1,000-liter clay amphora. This has a very engaging, pure bouquet that blossoms in the glass: vivacious red berry fruit laced with allspice and a touch of vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied and silky-smooth in texture with very fine tannins, a taut line of acidity and a precise and poised finish that lingers in the mouth. This is the best Séraphine since its 2017 debut and more classically styled than the previous vintage. ~93-95 NM-VM
