Enter the world of Heavensake, where the artistry of French blending meets the timeless tradition of Japanese sake brewing. Crafted by the legendary Régis Camus, an eight-time IWC "Winemaker of the Year" winner, Heavensake Junmai Ginjo is a testament to the harmonious collaboration between Japanese and French craftsmanship. Régis, the world-renowned Chef de Caves at Maison Rare Champagne, has channeled his virtuosity into creating a sake that is both an homage to and an innovation within the realm of sake.

Heavensake Junmai Ginjo is born from a nearly two-century-old brewery in the heart of Yamagata's Ginjo kingdom. This brewery, known for its meticulous precision and boundless passion, is driven by a young and dynamic team that constantly pushes the boundaries of sake making. Their dedication culminates in a product that is both steeped in tradition and refreshingly innovative, featuring an unparalleled 1% polishing ratio that elevates this sake to the pinnacle of quality.

Heavensake Junmai Ginjo is celebrated for its crisp, light, and smooth characteristics. With each sip, one is transported to a realm of refined elegance:

This exquisite Junmai Ginjo is perfect for those moments when you seek a touch of elegance. Pair it with sushi, sashimi, or light appetizers to enhance the delicate flavors of your meal. Its smooth and light profile makes it a versatile companion to a variety of dishes, ensuring that each dining experience is elevated

Sake is a drink made from rice grains and it is the typical beverage of Japan. Its preparation is particularly interesting. Unlike other cereals, in sake, the fermentation (the process of transformation sugar into alcohol) and the transformation of starch happen at the same time, making it a double special alcoholic beverage and a pleasure to drink!

Junmai translates to "Pure Rice”. This means that it is made using only rice, water, yeast and koji (the famous mushroom used to prepare rice for sake fermentation).

Tasting Notes: Heavensake Junmai Ginjo NV delights the senses with its crystal-clear appearance and delicate floral aromas, interwoven with subtle hints of pear and white peach. On the palate, it offers a smooth, daiginjo-like silkiness accompanied by a refreshing crispness that dances on the tongue. The experience culminates in a clean, refined finish that leaves a lingering sense of lightness and satisfaction.
