Reviews

The 2022 Grand Corbin Despagne is stellar. A large-scaled, dramatic wine, the 2022 possesses notable depth and tons of dimension. Inky dark fruit, lavender, licorice, violets and cloves build in a dramatic Saint-Emilion that marries opulence and structure. Clean mineral and savory accents extend the finish. ~93-95 AG-VM

Focused and precise with black berry and salty undertones. It’s medium-bodied with juicy and fresh fruit at the end. Made from biodynamically grown grapes. ~93-94 JS

Unfurling in the glass with aromas of cherries, sweet berries and plums mingled with hints of spices and licorice, the 2022 Grand Corbin-Despagne is medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with excellent concentration, supple tannins and a bright, lively core of fruit. It's a terrific effort from this under-the-radar estate. ~92-94 WA
