About the Wine

Azienda Tiberini is an artisanal family-owned winery that has been around for over 150 years. This estate is located in Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, known to be the first Italian DOC. This place, -also referred to as “The King of All Wines.” Montepulciano in Tuscany holds some of the world’s greatest hidden treasures. 

The 40-acre vineyards of Tiberini are located on the rolling hills that extend from Montepulciano towards the Valdichiana, in a very unique terroir with tuffaceous soils, ranging from Pliocene sands to closed clay, with the presence of stone and marl.

The vineyards are planted with native grapes and vines that reach up to 80 years old. Since its early beginnings, it has been managed with sustainable viticulture and in 1985, it was converted to fully organic.

Tiberini perfectly combines tradition with a more modern approach. The cellar is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, where the grapes are pampered in thermo-conditioned steel and concrete vats.

Rosso di Montepulciano is the perfect alternative for the wine lover who loves Vino Nobile but wants to enjoy it every day of the week. This is easy-drinking and modern in style. The perfect match for pizza or charcuterie on a Thursday night. 

Tasting Notes: Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo Nero and Mammolo 10%. This is a beautiful and fresh wine, with notes of red berries. On the palate, it is rich with small red fruits, with a light touch of plum. Make some pasta or order a pizza pie and pair with this wine.
