Tasting notes

Aging: 20 months in 33% new and 67% once- and twice-filled French oak barrels.

87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Petite Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc. This beautifully complex and classically styled wine is perfumed with aromas of sweet blackberries, violets, and vanilla that guide espresso, nutmeg, and cedar flavors on the palate. Silky tannins and ample, fresh acidity support the complex flavors, lending elegance to the long, expressive finish.

Critical Reviews

A very good, down-the-middle Napa cab with great red and black fruit flavors and a warm, moderately tannic texture. Full-bodied, blended from different parts of the valley floor, it is mouth-filling, generous and nicely concentrated. Drink or hold. ~92 James Suckling
