Massimo Liborio Colaianni built Etneco srl around his roots in Enna and Caltagirone — two towns in the Sicilian interior where bitter liqueur traditions run deep. The label carries Mount Etna and the pine cone of Caltagirone, two symbols of the island. At the 2024 Golosaria Milano trade fair — Italy's most prestigious food and beverage event — Amaro Liborio was awarded "Best Innovation in Mixology." This is a small Sicilian producer making a serious product, not a large brand chasing a category trend.
