Only had a sip in a tasting but it's always sobering to drink a wine that old. The scent was powerfully sweet but complex, like a baked honey cake, like a port. The taste mind blowingly complex, a flavour bomb with rich tannins that linger.

Awesome !! Really good balance and persistent finish. Blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc aged in French oak. Aromas and flavors of cigar box and cocoa with nice acidity and complexity.

For the vintage this wine surprised on all Levels ... I tried to buy the rest of these but was too late ... shame as it was great value and clearly an under rated vintage
