What wine makes a good gift?
The best wine gift fits the recipient, occasion and budget. Champagne is versatile for celebrations; Cabernet Sauvignon works well for collectors and steak lovers; Chardonnay suits many white-wine drinkers. If you are unsure, use our Wine Gift Concierge or send a gift card.
Can you include a personal gift note?
Yes. We can include a custom gift note with your order. Tell us the exact message and confirm the recipient and delivery details when you contact us.
Does the recipient see the price?
Gift shipments do not need to include pricing in the package. If you have special instructions, include them with your order or contact our team before shipment.
Can wine be delivered directly to the recipient?
Yes, where permitted. We ship wine to most states. The recipient must be at least 21 years old, and an adult signature is required for alcohol deliveries. Availability and delivery timing depend on the destination.
Can you create custom-label wine for a wedding?
Yes. Big Hammer Wines can help with custom labels, private-label wine, bottle etching, gift boxes, custom corkscrews and event wine. Lead times vary, so contact us as early as possible.
Do you offer nonalcoholic or gourmet gifts?
Yes. We offer nonalcoholic botanical drinks and can help build gifts with gourmet food items and special packaging. Ask our Wine Gift Concierge about current options.
Can I send just one bottle?
Yes. There is no minimum for individual wine gifts. We can help with one bottle, several gifts or a larger program.
How far in advance should I order a wine gift?
Order as early as possible for holidays, weddings, custom labels or bottle etching. Standard in-stock gifts may ship sooner, but weather, destination rules and adult-signature delivery can affect timing.
