Barbera d’Asti is a fine, sophisticated Italian wine that’s usually an unbelievable value.
Luca, born into a family of vignerons, knows that wine can only be harvested once a year. But what sets this wine apart is the passion and dedication that go into crafting it. Luca also started brewing beer.
Bruna and Luigi, the driving force behind this winery, live by one principle: they don't just use the land; they live it. Their collaboration with nature is a continuous journey of learning and growth. They cultivate the vine, but they also understand the elements that breathe life into it: Air, Fire, Water, and the marvelous Earth! Biodynamic practices in both vineyard and cellar.
The Barbera d'Asti Lia Vì gets its name from the numerous spontaneous nests found in the vineyard during pruning. Research revealed that the bird nesting here is the Muscicava Parva, known in Piedmontese as Lia Vì.
Tasting Notes: 100% Barbera. This wine boasts a ruby-red color with purple undertones. Its intense and complex aroma offers notes of cooked fruit, with hints of blackcurrant, cherry, and plum taking center stage. The taste is energetic, and the flavors unfold with finesse and continuity.
