2017 Erastos Bianco White Blend IGT

Pause for a moment to admire the yellow glow of Bianco Toscana 'Erastos' with its straw-yellow hue and subtle gold reflections that hold all the allure of a late summer romance, but without the heartbreak. Heavily perfumed with scents of yellow and tropical fruits, this vintage has a dry but soft minerality that's smooth and embracing on the palate. This wine sparkles alongside cheese, seafood, and chicken dishes. Try it with corn chowder, shrimp and creamy grits, or pork sauteed with pears and shallots.

Corte Medicea winery was born from a passion for the Tuscan winemaking tradition. The Corte Medicea vineyards are situated on picturesque rolling hills at an altitude of 380/400 meters, with clay/loam soils in the south of Tuscany.

Winemaker, Andrea Bernardini, has previously worked with Poggio Bonelli and Ruffino in Tuscany, and beyond in South Africa, Romania and Greece. This flying winemaker blends traditional and modern techniques to craft high quality wines that express the full flavor profile of the grape and terroir with which he works.
