Dolum sources its magic from Napa’s holy grail regions—Oakville, Stags Leap, and other elite sub-districts (oh, and Sonoma magic!). And as if that’s not enough, Dolum flexes with its own 40+-year-old vines planted in Oakville’s prime terroir.
Chad Alexander isn’t just a winemaker; he’s a legend. With a career spanning iconic names like Mt. Veeder’s Hess Collection, Chad’s got a Midas touch for turning grapes into gold. His obsessive attention to detail ensures every bottle delivers world-class quality—and then some. Critics? They’re obsessed. Wine lovers? Hooked.
2018 vintage was the debut vintage of the Cask #11 Red, and it’s was a showstopper. A blend of 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc, this bottle combines the best of Sonoma Mountain (91%) with a kiss of Oakville (9%).
On top of it all, 2018 was an EPIC vintage. The vintage was awarded 98 points by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Vinous Media, and Wine Spectator.
Tasting Notes
74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Waves of juicy blackberry, lush blackcurrant, and rich black cherry hit your palate like a symphony of indulgence.
