The Dampt family has been farming these hillsides for generations — more than 150 years of winegrowing in the Yonne, with the Dampt Frères operation unifying the brothers' vineyard holdings under one roof.

They know this terroir intimately: the Chardonnay here comes from hillside and plateau sites around Tonnerre, Vaulichères, Molosmes, and Épineuil, with Kimmeridgian clay-limestone on the slopes and Portlandian soils up top — the exact geological signature that gives Chablis its electric minerality.

Vinification is classic and clean: alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, then eight months on fine lees. No oak, no makeup — just pure Chardonnay fruit carried on a cool-climate mineral frame.
