In this blend, Cabernet Franc adds a touch of earthy, floral finesse, while Petite Sirah brings bold color and a lingering terroir finish. Syrah adds juicy, ripe fruit flavors and mid-palate richness, and a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon ties it all together with a structured, smooth finish. The outcome? 2023 was an amazing year! Early spring rains soaked the vines, continuing into early summer with three times the usual rainfall. This cooler, late-ripening vintage allowed for longer hang times, resulting in the darkest reds and intense whites we've seen in years. Look out for vintage 2023 - it's going to be one for the books.
