About The Wine

Since 1936, the story of Minuty has been about a family’s steady commitment to the Saint-Tropez peninsula. What started as a 19th-century chateau and a few abandoned vines has grown over four generations into a benchmark for Provence. The estate’s quality was officially recognized in 1955, when it became one of only 23 properties to earn the prestigious Cru Classé status.

The family earned their reputation by making deliberate choices. They replanted traditional grapes like Tibouren and Rolle and kept yields low to ensure every bottle met their standards. During this time, Monique Matton also designed the distinct "corset" bottle that is now recognized everywhere as a symbol of the region’s winemaking history.

Today, the Matton family continues to lead the estate with a focus on balance and precision. Their goal is simple: to produce wines that are aromatic, fresh, and elegant. Now part of the LVMH collection but still managed by the family, Minuty remains dedicated to the same artisanal expertise and respect for the land that began nearly a century ago.
