About The Wine

Since its foundation in 1729, Ruinart — the first established House of Champagne — has taken pride in the excellence of its cuvees. The Ruinart taste bears the signature of Chardonnay, the thread that runs through all its blends and produces pure and intense wines of remarkable aromatic freshness.

Drawn from 25-30 Premier Cru vineyards across the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims, and Sézannais, the wine reflects the chalk-rich soils that lend Champagne its unmistakable minerality. After fermentation in stainless steel and two to three years of lees aging, the Blanc de Blancs emerges with luminous golden hues and an elegant bead of fine bubbles.

100% Chardonnay. Beautiful pale yellow color with glints of gold and green. Active effervescence with a fine, persistent release of bubbles. At first very intense on the nose, giving way to fresh fruit notes, particularly ripe citrus and exotic fruits. A supple, harmonious attack on the palate, firm but rounded.

Champagne Ruinart

Champagne Ruinart, founded in 1729, is the oldest established Champagne house. It was inspired by Dom Ruinart, a Benedictine monk born in 1657, whose early writings on “wine with bubbles” laid the groundwork for the Maison.

Over the centuries, the Ruinart family pioneered several Champagne firsts — including the first rosé Champagne and the use of wooden shipping cases. Today, the house produces nearly 2 million bottles annually and is part of the LVMH luxury group.

Ruinart’s vineyards span the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, with a style that favors Chardonnay’s elegance over Pinot Noir’s power. Its prestige cuvée, Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, is made entirely from Grand Cru Chardonnay and aged for a decade in the historic 8km chalk cellars beneath Reims — among the deepest and most storied in Champagne.
