2007 Chateau Lassegue Saint Emilion Grand Cru Bordeaux
About the Wine
Aging: 50 to 60% new oak depending on the vintage
Tasting Notes: 55% Merlot 35% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The terroir and its micro-crus express their nuances in vintage after vintage. The know-how passed down through the generations, both in the vineyard and during the vinification and blending processes, results in welcoming, authentic wines that are a true reflection of their clay-limestone terroir.
The fresh, delicate aromas of Cabernet Franc are balanced by the voluptuous concentration of the old Merlot vines along with a lingering touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, in wines of elegant power.
