A pure expression of the terroir of the vineyard sites Gallimardes and Les Petites Serres lieux-dits. Situated in the sunniest and warmest area of Chateauneuf du Pape in the south, 2 miles east of the Rhone River. Spending 12 months in concrete tanks winemaker, Earl Vignobles Fabre, elects to have Grenache take centerstage for the 2012 vintage. Patiently waiting in the cellars this wine is in its peak drinking window and begging to be drunk.
The practice of aging red wine in concrete instead of oak or stainless steel has gained popularity over the years. It produces a silky smooth texture, increased minerality, and allows the wines to age properly without the influence of oak on the flavor profile. If you enjoy Pinot Noirs or red blends with hints of smoke or game this wine will sing on your palate.
The Cuvee of "Two Sisters" will WOW you. Very limited.
