The 2013 La Sirena Pirate TreasuRed from Napa Valley is a rich, dark ruby red wine, with an opulent and inky appearance. It offers a complex blend of aromas including ripe black and red fruits, layered with toasty French oak and hints of caramel. The age here give this bright cranberry, herbs de provence, and cigar box that’s mouth watering. The palate is full-bodied with flavors of berry, plum, and vanilla, supported by graceful tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a long, powerful finish.

The 2013 Pirate TreasuRed is one of the best versions of this wine I can remember tasting. Just bottled, the 2013 is going to need a bit more time in bottle to come together, but it is delicious today. The 2013 is dark and deeply spiced, with firm 2013 tannins and plenty of acidity.
