About the Wine

Northstar is already well regarded as one of the top producers of Merlot in Washington state and the world. But, they also make some very good Cab. From a 92pt rated vintage (WA), the wine was handled and produced with expensive new oak from premier vineyards. The same wine with a Napa AVA would be over $100. We have scored a screaming deal here, so snap it up before it's gone.

Vineyards: Cold Creek Vineyard and two renowned vineyards from Red Mountain, Klipsun Vineyard and Williams

Oak Aging: 53% New Oak, 85% French, 15% American

Blend: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot

Tasting Notes: “Aromas of black cherry lead into a palate ripe with raspberry jam, chocolate, cedar, and vanilla flavors. The wine has a full mid-palate and a rich finish of toasted oak."
