About the Winery
The winery is located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Pomerol in the department Gironde. As with all wine produced in this appellation, Château Plince Pomerol is unclassified, but is estimated among the great crus of the region.
Attractive red berries and light licorice notes with a lick of iodine lead to a palate that has plenty of red-fruit and -licorice flavors. Smoothly groomed tannins and a fresh cherry-pip finish. Try from 2020.~ 93 pts, JS

Blackberry, ? Plum with expansive palate and good length. Well balanced soft tannins.
Monday night wine! 3.8 stars for this Pomerol! 74% Merlot and 26% Cab Franc. One hour decanting which is to short. This red is definitely to young and should age for at least 5 years more. There is more potential inside! A deep ruby red with many legs. On the nose medium+ intense aromas of cassis, blackberries, morello cherries, herbs, spices, oak, slightly coconut, toast and forest floor. The red has a medium and juicy acidity, medium+ and fine-grained tannins, still young but on a good way.
Almost a Pinot at the aroma, with heavy and delicious dark fruit. Lots of smooth jammy blackberry and hints of vanilla. Tannic structure could be better but a great wine nonetheless.
