About the wine
Zinfandel made its home in Puglia, and though often still called simply Primitivo the grape is truly unique. Nearly purple in color, it thrives in dry, hot locations which makes Southern Italy its ideal terroir. Gently cooled by Mediterranean breezes, it retains bright acidity. Coupled with big fruit flavors, that makes it a natural pairing with everything from burgers to bolognese--and at this price you can afford to try it with anything!
