Winemaker notes: With a heady, complex, and compellingly layered mix of ultra-ripe red and black fruit aromas and flavors, the 2016 Schrader T6 is a stunner. This vintage has an elegant mouthfeel that brings with it flavors of black fruits, licorice, and exotic spices and herbs that crescendo into a long and savory finish. About the Winery

There is not much to be said about Schrader that hasn't already made headlines. Fred Schrader, an art and antiquity trader, attended the Napa Valley wine auction in the late 90's. He fell in love with Napa and then met Andy Beckstoffer and Thomas Rivers Brown. From that time, they sourced outstanding fruit from the To Kalon vineyard and set the wine world ablaze with some of the most sought after, collectable and delicious Napa Valley Cabernets ever created.

Very deep purple-black colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard T6 has a gregarious nose of Chinese five spice, cardamom, menthol and cigar box over a core of crème de cassis, Black Forest cake and blueberry compote with a waft of potpourri. Full-bodied, rich, spicy and oh-so-decadent in the mouth, it has a firm yet plush frame and an epically long, spicy finish.~ 98 WA
