The Schrader name is synonymous with outstanding, high-scoring Napa Valley Cabernet that is very limited and very expensive. Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown has made so many 100 pt and near perfect wines, we've lost count.
- An investment grade wine worth collecting
- A benchmark Napa Cabernet that is the envy of every collector
Winemaker notes: A classic vintage, with aromas of deep blackberry, toasty wood spice, and black licorice. It is exotically rich and intensely flavorful with integrated tannins and a finish of dark coffee and black fruits. An ideal combination of sweet fruit, oak, and balanced acidity provide approachability today and continued aging for the decades to come.

About the Winery
There is not much to be said about Schrader that hasn't already made headlines. Fred Schrader, an art and antiquity trader, attended the Napa Valley wine auction in the late 90's. He fell in love with Napa and then met Andy Beckstoffer and Thomas Rivers Brown. From that time, they sourced outstanding fruit from the To Kalon vineyard and set the wine world ablaze with some of the most sought after, collectable and delicious Napa Valley Cabernets ever created.
This is a really pretty cab with a solid fruit and tannin structure. Compact, polished tannins. Very beautiful. Coolness and length. ~95-96JS
Deep purple-black in color, the barrel sample of 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon CCS has incredible intensity of cassis, fresh cherries and warm redcurrants with touches of tobacco, lavender and wild thyme. The palate is medium to full-bodied, grainy and lively with great expression and some spiciness on the finish. ~94-96 WA
